What did we do?

Working with professional dance Tracey and International Graffiti Artist Adam Yoel the group worked through the story of Hip Hop from the early days in the ghettos of New York to it's modern interpretation including artists like Banksy.  The group produced a dance performance back dropped by their own graffiti work.  During the weeks the group took part in discussions and practical excersises in team building, conflict resolution, respect and a range of other personal issues.

What did we achieve?

The group produced at 20 minute show and graffiti works that will be displayed permanently at the Kingswood Foundation.  Overall the group gained significantly in confidence, team building and other personal skills

The young people identified pride in their work, self awareness, planning skills and self confidence as their key outcomes.
