What did we do?
Working with professional Circus Performers, Jane and Seb, and artist Felix Braun, the group worked to produce a performance and exhibition open to the public over 10 weeks. The aim of the course was to develop the personal skills and confidence of the young people as a means of re-engaging them in education and mainstream society.
What did we achieve?
Despite being reluctant to show their work at the begining of the course by the end they put on a wonderful show and exhibition.
The young people identified pride in their work, self awareness, planning skills and self confidence as key outcomes.
