Case study: Kingswood Foundation Summer School  
 
  25 young people took part in a week of workshops in circus, dance, music and drama. They worked together with internationally renowned artists to produce a performance from scratch at the end of the week.  
 
 
 
 
 
 

 
 
What did we do?
  
The group had the chance to try all the art forms and then focus on one or two. A production team of young people then designed and produced the performance which was open to the public. Training staff included Everton Hartley - an international Jazz producer, Tracey - a Hip Hop dancer who has worked with a range of companies including Physical Jerks, Angie – a founder member of the Bristol Old Vic Youth Theatre and Mike Wright – international circus performer.
 
 What did we achieve?
  
 
The group had a great time and learned a range of artistic and personal skills.
